Work Based Learning

Hello Knights! Welcome to WBL!

I currently serve as the work-based learning (WBL) coordinator! It's always a pleasure working with students who are highly motivated and dedicated to WBL and its mission. WBL programs are structured experiences that connect the student’s career goal(s) and classroom learning with a productive work environment.

WBL includes student placement that may be paid or unpaid positions. Not only does WBL provides students with opportunities for instruction in academics, but also in occupational skills, career exploration, and guidance in identifying employment and educational goals.

Students have the opportunity to connect/apply what they learn in school with work-site application, which enables a smooth transition into the workforce and/or education beyond high school.

Please explore this page thoroughly and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me at the information listed below. Let's make it a GREAT year at the CASTLE!
